literally couldn't breathe
because i re-lived those feelings
those haunting memories
of 3 years ago
it was early spring

is it all fake?
just a mask?

i remember
the way Jesus rescued you
He rescued me
He saved us once for all
but daily He empowers
and strengthens us
thank You
even for the worst time
i've had in my life
we were so young

still don't know why
it had to happen
and i probably never will
but You
will bring beauty
from pain
